The "Namma Jalamarga" ("Our Waterways") campaign celebrates our forefathers' foresight, who designed a network of lake chains and stormwater drains to efficiently manage the city’s water. This prevented flooding, pollution and disease. But today, the drains are full of waste and sewage or entirely missing due to encroachments.

Together let’s foster collective ownership and participation to restore this drain system and raise awareness about the important connection between water, its path, and the surrounding communities’ well-being.
