French Toast with Banana

This recipe has a fluffy light texture and a sweet yummy flavour. French toast with caramelized banana is a great start for your day!

Using fresh cream instead of milk makes a fluffy rich tasting French toast. This French toast is not over sweet even with the caramelized banana whipped cream and honey. It has a good balance all together.

Tips

I'm using 2 thick slices of bread.
Soak the bread in the egg and fresh cream mixture until it is absorbed through the bread.
Fry the bread on a medium low heat with the lid on.
The whipped fresh cream is optional.
Drizzle some honey or maple syrup over the French toast.

1 Egg
50ml Fresh cream
2Tbsp Sugar
1tsp Vanilla essence
1Tbsp Butter (for French toast)
1 Banana
1,5Tbsp Butter
1Tbsp Sugar
Some whipped cream
Some Honey or maple syrup
