The IRS said that most of those receiving benefits from the federal government and who had filed a 2019 or 2020 tax return or used the non-filer tool have already received their stimulus check the last three weeks. The new wave applies to social security (SS), Supplemental security income (SSI), and Railroad Retirement Board (RRB) who are non-filers and didn’t file a 2019 or 2020 tax return. And who did not use the non-filer tool.

The IRS began issuing the third stimulus payment around the middle of March but those payments until now have left out around 30 million people who are recipients of Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Social Security (SS), Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI), VA, and RRB. As mentioned in some of my previous videos the SSA was forced by members of the house and means committee to send the IRS all their files on beneficiaries so the IRS could make the payments.

Under pressure, the SSA sent the IRS all the files on March 25th and over the weekend the IRS has been verifying that information for over 30 million people. Now with the files in hand, the IRS said, “If no additional issues arise, the IRS currently expects to complete that work and to begin processing these payment files at the end of this week”. So many of you can expect to see a check this weekend, realistically though the majority will see there checks processed over the weekend and then deposited early next week!

How will you receive your $1,400 stimulus check?

The check this weekend will come electronically. For few it will come through direct deposit but for the majority you’ll see it come to your direct express card. When will Veteran Affair (VA’s) get their stimulus payment?

I hate to delvier the bad news but as of now the IRS is saying that VA beneficiaries can expect a check by Mid-April. That could be even longer though and extend into May since the IRS is not giving us an actual date. They aren’t explaining what the hold up is but I imagine it has to do with the files the SSA and VA has passed over to the IRS. It is so messed up that those in our country who we owe our life, liberty, and freedom to are the bottom of the bottom. This frustrates me so much because all the senators and congressmen from both political parties that talk so much about patriotism and respecting the flag and loving our soldiers never seem to actually care about those soldiers when they come back home. How is it possible that we send our vets to the back of the line? And by several weeks behind everyone?
