Doing a More Proper Speedrun of The World's Hardest Game (TWHG1 in 6:40 and 8 deaths)

On February 28, 2021, I ran this game in 8:27 with 6 deaths. I barely used any speed strats in it, and I haven't improved this time ever since. But just yesterday, Danicker and hsblue were hosting an event called "TWHG1 Break the Record LIVE" in which participants were to attempt to beat the whg1 world record (5:14 by hsblue, but later 5:11 by raflikk), or at least their own PB. So, I decided to participate in this event and get my time down ... at least down to a sub-7. On one run, I got a 7:02, which is why my splits on the left panel indicate such. Later, I got a "better" run of 6 min, 39 s, 26 frames (6:39.86). However, that run had several problems. I had a minor death on Level 9, another minor death on Level 18, a slightly more costly death on Level 22. By the end of Level 5, I was at a decent pace, at 4:45 and those 3 deaths. Got the potentially problematic Level 26 deathless, but after that, I completely forgot all the major speed strats beyond that. Died twice on Level 27, twice on Level 28, and died near the end at Level 29. With all those hiccups I ended up getting a 6:40, but this time could have easily been much lower. Unfortunately, with the time remaining for the event, I ended up not getting a better run.
