Powering Tomorrow: India’s E-Bike Revolution Takes Center Stage at Galgotias University

Galgotias University recently hosted the 9th edition of the national-level SIEP E-Bike Challenge, bringing together over 350 student innovators and 23 teams from 11 states to design and develop sustainable electric mobility solutions. Organized in collaboration with the Imperial Society of Innovative Engineers (ISIE INDIA), the competition focused on building energy-efficient and high-performance electric bike prototypes that can support India’s transition toward cleaner transportation.

The event provided a hands-on platform for engineering students to transform ideas into real-world prototypes, while being evaluated on parameters like performance, efficiency, and innovation. By encouraging practical learning and sustainable engineering, Galgotias University continues to foster young talent that can contribute to the future of India’s electric mobility ecosystem.
