Hiking 3 Days in the Olympic Mountains

A no-words story of my 3 day hiking trip in the Olympic Mountains.

This is one of my favorite places on Earth, and despite the questionable weather forecast, I decided to go on a scouting trip and explore some ridges I've been wanting to see for a while.

I set up camp by a river and spent the second day exploring. I was inside the clouds for most of the day, but towards the evening the clouds showed signs of clearing, and after climbing 4600 ft and waiting for a while inside the clouds, I was rewarded with an incredible view of a high altitude lake, surrounded by beautiful mountains.

The view lasted only a few minutes before everything was enshrouded again. I hiked down to my camp in the dark.

My gopro died on the third day so I used my cell phone at the end, and one of my boots was giving me some trouble, so the last few shots are a bit shaky.
