These Turtles Are a Totally Different Species Than Originally Thought
Scientists discovered that a type of giant tortoise present on one of Ecuador's Galapagos Islands is not a part of the species it was previously thought to be, Galapagos National Park said in a statement late last week. "For Galapagos this finding represents the constant genetic variability that we have had in our species," said the park's director, Danny Rueda. Inside Edition Digital’s Stephanie Officer explains.
