I Cancelled My Order - DJI Mini 3 Pro - Should You Upgrade?

Have you been enticed into spending yet more money because of the release of the Mini 3 Pro? Is it really worth upgrading? The Mini 3 Pro has some great new features but do they make the Mini 2 redundant. This is my attempt to justify cancelling my order for the Mini 3 Pro. It's just not always necessary to have the latest and greatest.

This video is about my personal decision to cancel however, the overarching theme of the video is that companies are incredibly skilled at making us feel that we need their new product. Worse than that, we also end up believing that the product that has been perfectly suitable is now virtually worthless and will produce terrible footage.

In the case of the Mini 2, that is simply not true and this video includes footage that will hopefully convince you of that. It's still a fantastic drone, and although you can easily convince yourself that you absolutely need all these new features, I bet you don't. Not really.

If you're filming professionally, likely, you're not using a Mavic Mini anyway. If you're filming either for fun or for online delivery (like me), you probably think you need much more than you do.

I'm not saying I will never upgrade. Technology improves and progresses which is a wonderful thing. However, if you have a Mini 2 that you were happy with a month ago, save yourself some cash and stick with what you've got. Enjoy it.
