On this episode I continue with the disassembly of this 1979 Kenworth W900A truck to turn it into a tribute movie truck to the one used in the 1977 classic movie Smokey and the Bandit with Burt Reynolds, Jerry Reed and Jackie Gleason. If you haven’t seen it yet, there’s no excuse “Let me have a diablo samich and a Dr.Pepper and make it fast I’m in a hurry”

After finally finding a proper budd lug socket I was able to remove the inner wheels and laid the back of the truck safely on some old railway ties. Then removed the fuel tanks and other small items off the frame. Then coordinated a bead blaster who cleaned up the frame, cab and bunk. Finally, I laid down some primer and painted the frame black all before the cold, snowy Alberta winter set in #winning
