With Lake Michigan at all time high water levels, this video shot with a 4k Drone video of a house On the Edge with Lake Michigan Beach Erosion being the cause. And with the erosion comes the destruction of houses and other buildings along the shore. This trip to Lake Michigan was not to film this but I stumbled upon these houses in peril and shot the video with a heavy heart. I'm sure home owners insurance doesn't cover this and the state fines you for lake pollution so these people are in dire straights. The year 2019 set many records weather wise included the wettest year on record for many parts of Michigan. This boosted the Lake levels up and forecasts for the beginning of 2020 are looking good. We need a warm winter and a warm dry summer in the region to bring lake levels down but its not looking promising. Thanks for watching.
