Landslide, Road Collapsing into Lake Michigan! Erosion Update October 2020

This road is falling into Lake Michigan in Stevensville Michigan!

Recorded October 13th 2020

High water levels and a warm winter have caused massive erosion across the coast. This part of the coast in Stevensville ranges from a 5-40 ft dunes.

Local homeowners around the area are holding off the lakes power by placing rock walls into the water as a barrier to slow the erosion, other homeowners are watching land disappear every time there is a storm in Southwest Michigan.
