Ferrari 488 GT3 EVO - 600Hp V8 Twin-Turbo Engine Sound at Misano Circuit - Kateyama Track Days

I've filmed some Ferrari 488 GT3 EVOs during two days of Kateyama testing at the Misano Adriatico circuit. One of these is the white of the Sky Tempesta Racing team, which participates in the GT World Challenge Europe championship. This model, unveiled at the 2019 Ferrari World Finals event, is the evolution of one of the most successful GT cars of the Maranello company. Many aspects have been improved starting with the aerodynamics, especially in the redesigned front section with a new bumper, side fins and more oversized air intakes above the fenders. This allowed the car to be more stable and to better channel the air flows. Work has also been done to reduce overall weight to better ballast positioning imposed by the Balance of Performance. All vehicle dynamic controls, including traction control and ABS, have been optimized. No change for the mechanical part which sees the 3.9-litre V8 Twin-Turbo engine capable of developing 600hp (448 kW) at 7,000 rpm with a maximum torque of 700Nm.We also find a braking system entirely with carbon-ceramic discs, 390mm at the front and 332mm at the rear. The total weight of the car is 1,260Kg. Enjoy! 😉

Ho filmato alcune Ferrari 488 GT3 EVO durante due giornate di test Kateyama presso il circuito di Misano Adriatico. Una di queste è la bianca del team Sky Tempesta Racing che partecipa al campionato GT World Challenge Europe. Questo modello, svelato all'evento Finali Mondiali Ferrari del 2019 è l'evoluzione di una delle auto di maggior successo fra le vetture GT della casa di Maranello. Molti aspetti sono stati migliorati a partire dall'erodinamica, specialmente nella sezione frontale ridisegnata con un nuovo paraurti, alette laterali e prese d'aria maggiorate sopra ai parafanghi. Questo ha permesso alla vettura di risultare più stabile e di canalizzare meglio i flussi d'aria. Si è inoltre lavorato per ridurre il peso complessivo per permettere un miglior posizionamento della zavorra imposta dal Balance of Performance. Tutti i controlli dinamici del veicolo, compreso il controllo della trazione e l'ABS, sono stati ottimizzati. Nessun cambiamento per la parte meccanica che vede il motore V8 Twin-Turbo da 3.9 Litri capace di sviluppare 600cv (448 kW) a 7.000 giri/min con una coppia massima di 700Nm. Troviamo inoltre un'impianto frenante interamente con dischi carbo-ceramici, 390mm all'anteriore e 332mm al posteriore. Il peso complessivo dell'auto è di 1.260Kg. Buona visione! 😉
