UF Health Shands E.R.’s quick action saved Cary’s life after an allergic reaction
Cary Gallop is a police officer who is used to life-threatening situations. When he experienced an extreme allergic reaction and his throat closed up, he knew he needed immediate medical care. He was brought to UF Health Shands Emergency Room where the team worked quickly to administer epinephrine to reverse the effects of his reaction.
