Ira C. Robinson, Sr., 2022 Distinguished Alumnus Award
Ira C. Robinson, Sr., is the recipient of the 2022 Distinguished Alumnus Award from the University of Florida. In 1963, he enrolled as the first Black student in the UF College of Pharmacy and later became the first Black Ph.D. graduate in UF’s history. He devoted his career toward helping Blacks advance in the pharmacy profession and paved the way for generations of minority graduate students and pharmacists to follow in his footsteps.
