TRIP REPORT | Emirates Perfection on A380! | Dubai to Cairo | EMIRATES Airbus A380

Emirates Trip Report flying from Dubai to Cairo onboard one of the Emirates Airbus A380 on a beautiful morning over the Middle East.

An amazing and comfortable flight onboard the Emirates A380 from Dubai to Cairo. This was my first time flying to Egypt and I think I couldn't have chosen a better way to get to Cairo.

We departed from runway 30R in Dubai, which means heading towards the sea, which is not so common (at least based on my experience), so that allowed us to have some different views compared to the usual ones that we have on the channel.

After departure, we turned left and started flying over the Persian Gulf towards Saudi Arabia. We flew to the north of Qatar and Bahrein, just before entering Saudi Arabia. Once there, our flight consisted in crossing all the desert, flying a northwesterly track towards Jordania. Just before reaching Jordania, we made a left turn towards the Aqaba Gulf and flew almost directly to Cairo, flying over the Aqaba Gulf, Sinai Peninsula, and the Suez Canal. The approach to Cairo was just fantastic, flying over Pyramids, the Nile river, and Cairo downtown.

About the onboard service, I must say that Emirates was brilliant (once again). This flight took place just a few weeks after Emirates announced the best economical results of its history. You can definitely see in their onboard service that they are using part of those benefits in improving even more that service. Many other airlines, especially the Americans and Europeans, could learn and see how to properly run a company.

The meal service that we offered on this flight was breakfast. And what a breakfast! Probably the most complete one I've seen ever on a plane. It had fruit, vegetables, cheese, croissant, muffin, butter, marmalade and, as a warm meal, a cheese omelet with creamy spinach, and vegetable croquettes. Juices, coffee, and tea were also offered. A true 5 stars service for economy class.
