Relics hundreds of years old in the ground found with metal detectors.
We walked up the old dirt road to a couple of cellar holes ( old foundations ) from the 1700s to do some metal detecting. We have been here in the past but keep going back to see what else we can find. These old homesites go back to the American colonial days and have so much history. We dug old buttons, buckles, iron tools and old copper coins. The rock walls tell so much of a story and you need to follow them to find these old spots. New Hampshire history is a passion of ours and digging up stuff from the past is super exciting. Its amazing what you can find buried in the ground.
