Castle & Beckett AU - Oblivioni Veritas PART ONE
Set after the events of episode 6x22 Veritas where Beckett found the tape inside the elephants.

After Beckett finds the tape inside the elephants her and Castle are stopped shortly afterwards by corrupt Captain Marcus Donovan who is secretly working on behalf of Senator Bracken. Castle & Beckett mysteriously disappear without a trace.

1 year later Beckett is now elsewhere believing she is a Special Agent working for the FBI with no knowledge of her past until she starts having confusing visions. Assmall bits and pieces slowly start to return she seeks the help of a therapist who helps her to uncover the cause of the random flashes.

Eventually she comes to remember bits of both her past life and fiance Richard Castle and them being captured and questioned as to where the audio evidence of Bracken's confession is.
With both of their memories wiped to ensure William Bracken gets away with murder and becomes elected as president Castle also has been leading a new life with no memory of his past or wife to be Kate Beckett.

That is until he is approached by a strange man who is determined to help Bracken uncover the location of the missing tape.

Will they remember the truth and find their way back to one another and finally stop Bracken once and for all?
