Various shots of Allied tanks moving into a field in Germany. Equipment and tanks are loaded onto amphibious craft and taken across the River Elbe. British troops build a Pontoon bridge.
Tanks make it to the other side. Jeeps are driven off. Soldiers look at a tank in a field; camera pans to show two cows eating grass nearby.
Shots of general activity as soldiers push boats into the water to assist in building of Pontoon bridge. Several shots of the original bridge that once spanned the river, now lying in ruins across the water.
