Canon 1200D UV IR-Cut Filter Removal

Something a little different. The purpose of removing the UV IR-Cut Filter from the Sensor is to utilize the original Light Spectrum the Sensor has. All Camera's are made with a Filter to limit the Spectrum to what we can see with our own eyes, however they are capable of reaching much greater in both the UV and IR side.

The removal opens up the Camera to be more useful in UV Photography, Infrared Photography, and Astrophotography. My main purpose was for Infrared and Astrophotography only, but maybe one day I will look more into UV.

I have never done this before, and knew there was a high risk of buggering up the Camera. I only went from some simple instructions the day before and then had a crack at it. Although I wasn't concerned if I broke it, I was still sweating, however it all went well for me, and the Camera has no faults after the reassembly.

**Please note, there is always a risk when modding Camera Equipment, especially when working with the Sensor. The wrong thing can go wrong for all including professionals, which varies depending on the quality of the Camera itself, how well it has been maintained, any damage it may have recieved in it's life etc. I modded this one as it was an old Camera that just sat around, so the risk factor didn't matter to me.**
