Friday Feature Artist - Olga Radionova

Commencing the third season of our Friday Feature Artist series, we had the privilege of conducting a deeply emotional pre-recorded interview with the remarkable Olga Radionova, a true master of mixed media art.

Olga, a talented Ukrainian textile artist and sculptor, has taken the art world by storm with her unique approach to creativity.

After graduating from the National Academy of Fine Arts in Kyiv, Ukraine, Olga's passion for sculpture has been unwavering. While she possesses a broad range of artistic skills, including oil painting, ink painting, watercolour, and installations, her heart has found its eternal home in sculpture.

In recent years, she has ventured into uncharted territory, inventing her own media—textile sculpture, where with her ingenious fusion of textiles, ceramics, wood, and metal, Olga opens the doors to visually and emotionally boundless experimentation.

Her artistic journey has taken her to great heights, including being selected as a participant in the esteemed International Textile Art Biennial in Haacht, Belgium. As a valued member of the Professional Artist Union of Ukraine, she has showcased her talent in over 30 collective exhibitions across Ukraine and Europe, in addition to more than ten captivating personal exhibitions. Olga's work has graced international Art Fairs, further solidifying her status as a true visionary in the art world.

In our interview, Olga shared her unyielding passion for art, relentless pursuit of innovation, and unwavering dedication to self-expression. Listening to her speak about her craft was an awe-inspiring experience, evoking many emotions.
