Friday Feature Artist - Samantha Bryan

We step into a fantasy world this week as we invite you into our Friday Feature Artist studio with mixed media artist Samantha Bryan.

Samantha creates fairy-like sculptures and wall work that evoke a sense of nostalgia, escapism and make-believe, inspired by Victorian Gadgetry and Invention. Her fairy folk display a sense of whimsy as they adorn items from her eclectic hoard of buttons, spotted feathers, seed pods, dyed leathers, and contraptions influenced by Victorian flying machines. She combines these materials and found objects to inform their intriguing personalities.
