"NEUTRA" (Extreme Demon) by Jenkins, ILRELL & Marwec | Geometry Dash 2.11

My boy Marwec hit me up and asked me if I wanted to upload a showcase of Neutra, the new collaboration between him and ILRELL, and of course I couldn't do anything but accept. Their last decorated layout collaboration was LEYAK, which deservedly so got a lot of attention. That was decorated by EnZore, but NEUTRA is decorated by Jenkins. This is very obvious when seeing the level. Considering that, this is not really a sequel at all, but more of a spiritual successor so to speak. It would be cool to see this blow up as well.

As mentioned, the level is quite different from LEYAK visually, and I'm talking thematically and stylistically in particular. This doesn't really have as much of a clear theme throughout. There are some teeth here and there, though, but not that I get it much myself, so my point of the theme being less clear stands. In terms of style, this doesn't focus as much on block design or art, which makes sense considering it's decorated by Jenkins. Overall, it's much more focused on effects, and I think that fits the song very well.

Naturally, I won't be judging the gameplay of this, and it's not like I even played it yet. This showcase was recorded by para, so special thanks to him. It's gonna be verified by Hawkyre. How the gameplay is received will be seen in time, but I can imagine the reception being good considering it's by ILRELL and Marwec. It definitely looks very unique. People will see if it's fun as well. This will definitely get an Epic Extreme Demon rating once it's out.
