Rare Dolenz, Jones, Boyce & Hart commercial (1981)

The Monkees experienced a resurgence in Japan in the early 1980s. As a result, three of The Monkees (Dolenz, Jones & Tork) toured the country as solo acts in 1981 and 1982. The demand for The Monkees was so high that the television series was aired daily and original albums were re-released. The 1976 Dolenz, Jones, Boyce & Hart album was also reissued, and here you can see a commercial advertising it. (In the mid-1970s, former Monkees Dolenz and Jones teamed up with original Monkees tunesmiths Boyce & Hart to tour the world, record an album and film a television special.)
