Traditional Bosnian Kvrgusa Recipe - Recept za Kvrgušu

Kvrguša is a true comfort food in certain parts of Bosnia. This traditional recipe is easy and quick to make and the dough is so delicious that you’re sure to go back for seconds! I’ve tried making kvrgusa without vegeta (European seasoning) and even replacing it with chicken bouillon cubes and it’s just not the same. Vegeta pairs AMAZING with chicken and even potatoes so if you buy the bag of it, you’ll definitely use it! Hope you love this recipe as much as I do and keep in mind, different parts of Bosnia have a different twist on it. This is how my mom taught me to make it 💜

📌INGREDIENTS:
Chicken:
◾️4-5 pieces of drumsticks or chicken thighs
◾️1/2 tsp salt
◾️1/2 tsp pepper
◾️1 tsp garlic powder
◾️2 tbsp olive oil
Dough:
◾️3 cups all-purpose flour
◾️1.5 tsp salt

◾️1.5 cup warm water
◾️1.5 cup warm milk
◾️2 eggs
Milk Mixture:
◾️1/2 cup heavy cream
◾️1/4 cup milk
