How to Get Hot Water Faster Upstairs, in Shower, and at Kitchen Sink
https://www.randrrefrigeration.com/how-to-get-hot-water-faster/
Do you find yourself turning on your faucet or shower and then leaving it, to allow it time to heat up?
This is a common nuisance for many people, but today, we are going to share with you the quick and simple solution, stay tuned….
Statistics have shown that homeowners wait an average of 68 seconds for the hot water to arrive at their shower.
This is annoying and wastes tons of water.
The reason your waiting for hot water is due to the distance between your fixture and the hot water heater. Since your water piping will run from the water heater, into the wall, and then under your floor or ceiling, the distance of piping from the water heater to the fixture is lengthy.
When you turn on the shower or faucet, the water that has been sitting in your pipes has cooled off and now needs to be emptied before the hot water arrives.
To eliminate the wait and save tons of water, a demand hot water recirculating pump is the solution.
Installing your new demand recirculating pump is simple.
A specific hot water pump is installed on your existing hot water heater. The pump goes right in line with your current connections.
The pump is small, convenient, and takes up very little space. The pump runs on very low power… about the same as a 25 watt light-bulb.
Then, a thermostatic valve is installed under one of your sinks. This valve connects the hot and cold water supply together, which allows for cold water that was sitting in your hot water pipe to be recirculated back to the water heater.
This pump and thermostatic valve work together to keep hot water recirculated in your hot water pipes.
With a demand recirculating pump you eliminate the warm-up period. You’ll stop wasting water, and enjoy instant hot water on tap.
