M15 Missed His Landing Coming Home & Ends Up Below Nest! F23 Is Scared & Alerts! M15 Is OK 1.10.24

M15 was coming home at night around 10:53pm and missed his landing & ended up below the nest flapping his wings. This scared F23 and she mantled and alerted - she had no idea what just happened. You can see M15's tail on the left as he was flying in too low. Both M15 & F23 are vocalizing and M15 is flapping and then he flies off to the right (west), circles around and lands on the attic. F23 is still mantling and vocal. M15 responds to her and they calm down. The cam op panned to the attic to show M15 okay. That was a big scare for F23 as she was protecting E23 with her wings spread. Remember that although eagles do fly at night when they have to, their eyesight is not very good and is similar to our own at night. Thank you for watching!
