CLASSIC Hanoi Dishes In LOCAL Neighborhoods | Northern Vietnamese Cuisine

From the south! Had to get out of the center of Hanoi and go a little deeper for some food finds today!

Started off with a classic, Banh Cuon. This lady has really done a fantastic job with her amazing rice rolls, dipping sauce, and of course the cinnamon sausage. Located in a little neighborhood, super friendly, and the ultimate street food spot.

Next, I wanted some Bun Ca. One of my favorite dishes in Hanoi, and well, maybe I should have picked somewhere a little more aligned with my taste. A wonderful light broth, but unfortunately, I was wanting a little more of a “punch” of flavor.

Lastly, I went for Banh Ran, at a lady who is really famous. Just selling for a few hours a day, you better come early if you want to make sure to get a seat or some food. Making a delicious sweet version, but her salty is the best hands down in my opinion. The perfect dough for an ooey and gooey experience.
