Duck HOT TUB Offal stew | Delicious Duck ANY PART You Want!!!

Had to go back to district 8 one more time before leaving Saigon!

Started off with Bun...no beef, Hue. This was my first time eating this dish without the beef and I must say it wasn’t really missed. A flavor packed broth with delicious bone on pieces of pork, and then the really flavor packed crab and pork meatballs. The best part has to be the lady dishing up all the bowls with her infectious smile.

Next up, the whole reason I went to district 8, pha lau vit. Now, I knew I loved these two things separately but little did I know that my mind was going to be blown when these two loves of mine came together. Clearly a hot spot for the dish as drivers constantly come by on bike to place an order and go. A not overly sweet broth, with clean and rich pieces of every part of the duck you can imagine.

Lastly, to get something sweet, I went back across the water to district 5. Now for a taste of something that reminds me of home, fried ice cream. This place is a late night joint that the locals love. You see families, teenagers, and everybody else come here in large groups to indulge and have a good time. Doing the fried ice cream about as well as you can, it’s a must experience spot forsure.
