Step 1 : THROW AWAY THE SET-SCREW!! This is a long overdue guide to those having trouble figuring out how to fit the head of there tomahawk/ax to the handle using the friction fit method. This video is intended for people that are new to ax and hawks that have never fitted a handle before. This video is first in a three part series I intend to do demonstrating to new owners of hawks/axes how to set up there new blades for field use in a budget minded way. Part two will show stripping the factory finish off and prepping for decoration and new finish application. Video three will show how you can use common items to re-edge, sharpen and polish the blades, all the while keeping a budget conscious approach.
