Introduction to Bioethics: Bioethics at the Beginning of Life

On April 15th, 2014, the Kennedy Institute of Ethics at Georgetown University launched the world's first Introduction to Bioethics MOOC on the edX platform. Each of the course's six weeks opens with a TED-style talk from Institute director Dr. Maggie Little. This talk focuses on ethical issues at the beginning of life: dealing with the creation, maintenance, and sometimes destruction of early human life, exploring ethical issues in collaborative reproduction, novel reproductive technologies, and abortion.
