Introduction to Bioethics: Bioethics at the End of Life

On April 15th, 2014, the Kennedy Institute of Ethics at Georgetown University launched the world's first Introduction to Bioethics MOOC on the edX platform. Each of the course's six weeks opens with a TED-style talk from Institute director Dr. Maggie Little. This talk focuses on bioethics issues at the end of life: how we define and deal with death in the 21st century, what euthanasia is and what moral issues define it, and what constitutes a "good death" in an age of ever-increasing technological extensions of the average human lifespan.
