Mandy Bawja & Jake Gibbens - Cinematic Short Reel (Sangeet & Sikh Ceremony)

On February 7, 2014, Mandy & Jake kicked off their wedding festivities with a traditional sangeet at the Four Seasons Hotel located in Westlake Village, California. We have shot here many times, it's one of our favorite locations. The following day they held their Anand Karaj (a traditional Sikh ceremony) outside in the evening under the garden gazebo. The reception followed in the grand ballroom, where DJ Scorpio had all the guest dancing the night away to his best bhangra mixes!

Behind the scenes: They decided to customize our cinematic package and we shot this with 1 Canon 5D Mark III camera, utilizing the glidecam, slider and pocket jib from Kessler. They will receive a highlight reel (about 15 min). The dancing mix for the highlight was created by DJ Scorpio, we love his bhangra mixes, they are unique and upbeat, really adds a special tone for the cut.
