Matt Fouch - Vocal Range

Matt Fouch is the current bass of Legacy Five after joining from Soul’d Out Quartet in 2012. He also made a solo album called Born and Raised.

Seeing as Matt doesn’t have a video dedicated to his range prior to this, I wanted to showcase it more, hence the longer video with 5 clips per low note. I also wanted a live clip for each low note to showcase his talents as a singer on the stage.

Took a long while watching his stuff. Big thanks to Cole Fountain who helped me note watch some legacy albums as well as helping me whittle down the clips.

Decided to keep the album art in for the clips instead of using pictures as I'd run out of decent pictures very fast as there aren't many, and it's easier for you to try find the songs and albums

In hindsight, the C#4 probably isn't him, but too late to change it now. Oops. At the time of making it I thought it could be him as in the live version he goes down for an A1 which isn't in the studio recording and I couldn't hear a C#4 in the live version, but I think I'm most likely deaf.

some questionable notes:

Sixteen tons F1: too brief to be counted.
Random slides: random and brief. Not countable.
4th octave + harmonies in solo work: most likely not sung by Matt
Sixteen tons E4(?): brief non-melodic exclamatory phrase. Probably not worth counting.

I don’t own any of the music, pictures or videos in this video. Sue me.
