Jeff Chapman - Vocal Range

“Jeff Chapman is a long-time southern gospel singer, formerly singing bass for the Anchormen, and currently for the Kingdom Heirs. He manages to maintain a very chesty sound throughout his entire range, even down into the lower first octave. His higher range, while not utilised terribly often, manages never to sound strained, but instead retains the same power he uses to project the lower part of his range.”

Haven’t seen a comprehensive video on his range before, so thought it was time to do one in the few days I had spare after my exams. Apologies if there are any errors, I was in a rush.

Questionable Notes:

F4:
His Love - Live NQC 2006 (Unable to find any. Unsure of its existence and vocal origin)
https://youtu.be/mMVwiX5bkis (while the context is obviously non-melodic and comedic, the quality isn’t terrible, and he sustains that pitch a few times throughout the video. In the end I couldn’t be bothered to edit it in)

Eb4:
His Love - Live NQC 2006 (Unsure of vocal origin, but it may be Jeff. Decided to leave it in)

F#1: https://www.facebook.com/kingdomheirs/videos/10152521750461076/?vh=e&extid=34B78IIZypXDGzVJ (not actually sure if this note exists. Might be just some strange audio effect that occurs or something. not too sure but I'm definitely hearing something there. Decided to leave it in)

F1:
Jesus is mine - Anchormen 1991 (could be Bb1 or F1. Not too sure. Seems to come out too easily for an F1, but my ear tells me it slides to an F. I dunno)

Thanks to TRP for the original thread and vocal summary up until 2016. The rest of the research was my own.
Plans for the future: Not too sure. Was making a video for Tim Foust but got bored (soz). May come back to it eventually (and Geoff too) when I have a spare minute. Unsure of what my next video will be, but I’ll probably make a vocal range video for Hannah Reid of London Grammar once their new album comes out, but don’t hold me to that. Also want to make a video of every note on the piano being sung. Might be fun. Probably not. Thought about doing a vid on Lockie Chapman but I don't have time to note watch his material at the moment. Might also do a Glenn Miller low notes video, as well as Oktavism/basso profundo part 2. Possibly a video for Nicola Cavallaro. I've collected a fair few low notes between E2 and C#2 that I'm not really sure what to do with at the moment. Maybe one day I'll also make a female low notes video. Who knows
Thanks for watching

This geez really needs some more in focus pics of him

This has probably fucked up my Spotify wrapped for the year already
I don’t own any of the anything
