How to make chocolate mochi (microwave)|| レンジで餅チョコ

ingredients

Chocolate Ganache:
Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips 130g (1 cup)
Hot heavy cream 65ml

Mochi:
Glutinous Rice Flour 110g (1 cup)
Sugar 110g (1/2 cup)
Milk 200ml
Chocolate 50g (1/3 cup)
Cocoa Powder

1. Pour the chocolate chips as well as the hot heavy cream in a small bowl
2. Let the hot heavy cream melt the chocolate while stirring
3. Chill your ganache in the fridge for 1hr
4. Pour in glutinous rice flour in a large bowl
5. Add in sugar and stir the two together
6. Pour in the milk and whisk until the mixture is smooth
7. MIcrowave for 1 minute, lightly stir before putting it back in the microwave for another minute. Stir and repeat until you get the mochi texture.
8. Stir your mochi using a spatula then add in your chocolate chops
9. place clear wrap on a tray & then sprinkle on unsweetened cocoa powder
10. place your mochi on a tray and add more cocoa powder on top
11. cut your mochi into 12 pieces
12. Take your ganache from the fridge & use a piping bag to make 12 corresponding pieces
13. freeze the ganache for 1 hour
14. Shape your ganache into flattened spheres
15. Stretch out the mochi to fit in the ganache
16 Wrap the mochi around the ganache
17. Sprinkle on any final cocoa powder
