Bizonia and Trizonia | Germany Begins to Divide

Designed for GCSE History. The USA, Britain, France and the USSR have decided to divide Germany, but with different intentions for their sections, and these intentions beginning to interfere with each other, it is only a matter of time before Germany begin to split more permanently. This would to the creation of Bizonia and eventually, Trizonia. But what effects would this have on relations?

This video covers:
1) What tensions existed with the split Germany.
2) Why the Western zones decided to merge.
3) The new currencies of Western and Eastern Germany.
4) The consequences of this increased tension.
