Chasing the Big Boy: One Year Ago - May 13, 2019

This is the next day in my One Year Ago series, May 13. On this day in 2019, the Union Pacific Big Boy #4014 and Living Legend #844 travelled from Evanston, WY to Rock Springs, WY as part of the Great Race from Ogden event. They would later continue their journey back to Cheyenne, WY, where the Great Race to Ogden began.
Once the Big Boy stopped at Rock Springs for the day, I watched some freight trains at the Green River yard, where the Big Boy had passed through earlier.
