Explore the relationship between memory, loss and exile with this fascinating panel discussion, as part of Edmund de Waal’s library of exile installation at the British Museum.

The discussion is chaired by English PEN President, Philippe Sands QC and features contemporary artist and writer Edmund de Waal, International Booker Prize -shortlisted novelist Alia Trabucco Zerán, and British Palestinian writer and activist Selma Dabbagh.

This is one of four thought-provoking events exploring the themes inspired by the library of exile, presented in collaboration with Edmund de Waal, English PEN, and the British Museum.
