ABOUT BRAVE NEW VOICES
Brave New Voices is a three-year creative writing and translation project for young people from around the world living in London by Readers and Writers, the literature outreach programme of English PEN. Participants worked with poets, performers, playwrights and novelists to discover their own voices as writers and to celebrate multilingualism.
Wednesday 13 July 2016 saw the launch of BRAVE NEW VOICES: A CITY IMAGINED, an anthology of their poetry, stories, letters and ideas bursting with creativity, humour and poignance. This film shows some of the performances from the night.
In partnership with Praxis Community Projects, Migrants Organise and Salusbury World.
