-The over arm clamps onto the coil to contain the coil end when the straps are cut, and to help keep the coil tight during automatic payout.

-System Capacity is limited by the material unwinding off the mandrel and the ability of the coil clamping arm to keep the coil tight. Thicker and stronger materials have a tendency to loosen become difficult to unwind in a smooth and controlled manner. HSLA Materials thicker than 2 to 3 mm, MS materials thicker than 3 to 4mm may be difficult to process.
-The machine works with the press to position material in the tooling each press stroke.
Servo-Drive:
-Brushless AC motor, with integral servo quality gearbox are conservatively rated and capable of very high peak torques. Over temperature sensing and to protect critical components.

upper and lower rolls driven, grip the strip to drive material thru straightener without resetting. Upper roll is lifted/lowered by air cylinders.
-upper roll is driven thru a constant mesh gear train.
-The upper rolls of the straightener rolls are not driven and are individually adjustable. The vertical position is set by hand crank, and position is indicated by digital counters with .001" graduations.

Straightener pilot release
-Upper straightener rolls all lift using a 4 point eccentric system. Eccentric shafts are rotated to provide fast, precise release and reset of the straightener.
