Art Lesson #5 - Mounting Paintings, Painted on Canvas board or Panel

http://www.jonpeters.com/ Artist will often paint on canvas board ¼ plywood or even matt board. And that is fine, but if you want to display the painting in a float frame the painting will need to be mounted to something a little heaver like ½ plywood.

In this video I show how to mount a painting so that the painting can be displayed in a walnut float frame. Some the tools that you will need are wood glue, a chop saw, or circular saw, a hot glue gun, a screw gun, and a few 1" screws
