Our modified high performance Harbor Freight 670cc turbo methanol engine runs on methanol for the first time! The culprit was our ignition system- the magnets in the billet aluminum flywheel lost their magnetism likely due to overheating. With a cast flywheel (and a HUGE carburetor jet), our turbo v twin fired right up! We have a lot of tuning to do on our methanol lawn mower engine, but hearing it fire up was a huge win!
