00:00 Tip 1 Build up your fasting muscle slowly. This is how to start intermittent fasting. Start with a 12 hour intermittent fast. The best intermittent fasting schedule is an 18/6. Build up to this. Eventually throw in a 24 hour fast once per week. MIT research shows a 24 hour water fast strengthened intestinal stem cells.

02:50 Tip 3 make sure your sleep and stress levels are optimal. Fasting is a hermetic stress to the body, it is important to make sure your stress bucket is not full when fasting.
04:10 Tip 4 Do this when you’re hungry during a fast. The hunger hormone Ghrelin will go back down if you keep yourself distracted.
05:15 Tip 5 Make sure you balance fasting with feasting. It is important to understand the balance between mTor and autophagy. The problems with fasting too much include a weakened immune system, protein and muscle loss, and thyroid dysfunction.
