Microsoft Pledges to Protect and Defend Linux!!!

Microsoft has joined the Open Invention Network (“OIN”), an organization dedicated to *protecting* Linux from patent trolls and companies antagonistic to Linux and open source. In doing so it has added its portfolio of over 60,000 issued patents to the OIN. But, can you believe it?
