Prawns Thecha Recipe | Spicy Maharashtrian-Style Prawns with Green Chilli Chutney

Learn how to make prawns thecha – a spicy and flavorful Maharashtrian dish with prawns cooked in green chilli garlic chutney. Perfect for spice lovers!

Prawns Thecha 🍤🌶

Ingredients :
250g Prawns (cleaned & deveined)
1/2tsp Salt or as per taste
1/2tsp Turmeric Powder
Juice of Half Lemon
1tbsp Oil
8 - 9 Garlic Cloves
5 - 6 Chillies
Little Coriander
2tbsp Butter
Salt as per taste
Lemon juice as per taste
Chopped Coriander for Garnishing

Method :
1. Clean & devein prawns.
2. Marinate prawns with salt, turmeric powder and lemon juice for 15 mins.
3. Heat oil in a pan. Add garlic and green chillies. Saute for 1 - 2 mins.
4. Grind to a coarse paste along with some coriander leaves.
5. Heat butter in a pan. Add prawns. Fry for 3 - 4 mins.
6. Add thecha paste and kix well. Cook for 2 mins.
7. Adjust salt and lemon juice.
8. Garnish with chopped coriander.
