Sun Salutation Guided Yoga Practice (Surya Namaskar A) | Bulgaria 🇧🇬

Unroll your yoga mat and join me for a guided Sun Salutation A practice ( Surya Namaskar A ).

Surya Namaskar means Sun Salutation. By repeating the sequence a number of times we are greeting the rising Sun. This sequence of asanas is done in the beginning of the practice to warm up the body and improve cardiovascular fitness. Each movement is synchronized with the breath. When we do upward movements we inhale, when we do downward movements we exhale.

The Sun Salutation, or Surya Namaskar, can be a complete practice; the poses lengthen and strengthen, flex and extend many of the main muscles of the body while distributing the prana flow throughout the system.

If you've never practiced yoga before and it's difficult to keep up, I'll post a video next week, where I explain the different asanas, included in Sun Salutation A in more detail.
