Recently, the company I work for was acquired by a larger company—which meant my 401k was temporarily suspended during the crossover. So, what was I going to invest in without access to a 401(k)? It threw me into a research wormhole where I was looking into the differences between a Roth IRA vs. traditional IRA Roth, and a Roth IRA vs. 401(k), and 401(k) vs. IRA vs. Roth 401(k).
