My sister and I both had RNY gastric bypass surgery (roux-en-y). I had my weight loss surgery in Mexico, she had hers in the USA. We’re 15 months apart in age and had our surgery about 1 month apart. It’s intimidating, and scary, and I get it. Because I’ve been through it, and so has my sister. We both had RNY gastric bypass surgery (only 1 month apart!), and we both lived to tell the tale.
