Best Farmers Market Day - Biggest Sales Weekend ALL YEAR!

The weekend before the Thanksgiving holiday and we had the opportunity to participate in 2 different farmer's markets. We also had thanksgiving turkeys available for pickup this weekend. It ended up being the best weekend for sales we have had all year long! This was very important as we go into the quieter time of the year where the markets are closed down and we depend on deliveries and on-farm sales to help get us through the lean winter.

Today we are talking about out small set-up that we use at smaller markets or if only one person is attending the market. It is very similar to our larger set up following some of the same principles.

We had a good weekend selling pastured pork, pastured poultry, free range eggs, grass fed beef and our local honey.
