Sir James Cruthers Retirement Presentation 1981
Long time TVW Channel 7 employee Ken Alexander had the honour of making a presentation to Sir James Cruthers, when he retired from the station in 1981. It was Sir James who launched Western Australia’s first TV station, on Friday 16th October 1959.
Ken Alexander was not only a pioneer of television in Western Australia, but also a cinema pioneer in that State.
